Visit this Old World Tavern in the heart of the city dating back over 145 years. It has won prizes for its frontage nine years in a row, the James Joyce Award for Authentic Irish Pub and two Black and White Awards.

The name Dan Lowrey originated from the founder of the theatre, The Everyman Palace, which is next door to the tavern.

Some of the old features in this tavern are the stained glass windows which originally came from a church in Killarney. They are over 300 years old. The tavern also boasts a selection of antique mirrors.

Its cosy atmosphere makes this a great place to enjoy our extensive lunch and evening time menu or relax with friends and family for a drink.

Dan Lowreys is a family run bar where you will always be made welcome.

Now serving a selection of hot beverages and sandwiches for take-away. Ask within for details.
